Eternal sunshine

Every thought absolved, every breath excused
One little moment to remember
Every other time ,erased
Where one can see only a bit
and picture is blinded by the eternal sunshine
Of the clear bright large
blank brain

Bohemia

Legs crossed,a grey suit sat on the pavement,
The hair wasn't allowed by the forehead and the dark eyer, were
well,dark.
This looked like the place we could find them,
this other end of the town,
the mighty river here, don't people drown?

The town square formed a impressive canvas for him,
the hawkers of erstwhile kingdoms,
the old ladies on their chairs,
the gypsies spelling fortune,
and then them

I was told its this part where i could find them now,
only here,
"where",I said,"where exactly you think i should be?"

A pony tailed teen walked over, not a single tatoo on him
but the friendly smile suggested a nice pierce
This part it is,
jobs that pay you enough to get the beer for your girl on saturday,
where a can beer on the door suggests the party,
and you live in the night,
this night.

Here i should find them,so i clutched some exotic air and shouted
"Can I ge some writers?"

Fools paradise

On days like these,
when wind blows west,
towards the hard sun that shall rest
I look up to the sky
For a a leaf,a ray,a speck of dust
That had come from the times past
I might chance upon a tune that once i hummed

On days like these,
When the summer earth cools down to the stars,
I wish you would wonder like me,
I wish for you to be a fool like me

need to change!

Big glass bottle on the sink,
Violet greasy ink,
Blotted paper fell victim,
White cotton shirt and plaited skirt skid from,
One yikes in the air,
Two elbows clashed,
Slippery floor and white tiles contrived,
6 pairs of legs fell victim

Few little drops under the sink,
Busy girls rest room for the next 1800 ticks!

could feet lie ,as the heart longs?

I once had a dream
Of a bright vast land under the summer sky,
There was a wooden bench ,old , torn and inviting
Grains of sand were seated there departing from the wind

I once had a dream,
Of a me on a wooden bench, watching the sand go by,
Few grains danced and teased the last leaf on a bark,
I am sure these games they played well before a last leaf was said,
Few grains would touch my eye and tease goodbye

I once had a dream,
Of land barren, cracked and hills of the dry,
I sat on a bench drowsed by the smell of the hot wind,
Marked by the miles of the land my feet sore to see,
Wander dust told my eyes tales of the cracked land and wood past,

I once had a dream,
Of a splendid day, so bright that my eyes would hide from the sky,
The land so brown and bare that my presence felt unwarranted,
The lone tree stood firm after the last leaf freed itself to the wind,
Oh the sand so majestic that I saw the truth through its eyes

Winds of the past played a song of the lost,
The specks of black and brown danced to the tunes of the wild traveler,
It told tales, of lands that died, of places that time couldn’t touch,
Of lives that waited for dawn and others that lied to the truth
I listened till the dusk cracked,my sun sadly will go down
As I lifted me from the bench, pulled my overcoat to the ears
For I paid my debt to the story teller by adding one tear drop
One tear down the dusty cheeks into the warm wind that now belongs to the stories

well said my friend!

  • "The world is grown so bad, that wrens make prey where eagles dare not perch".

  • "If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?".

  • "As he was valiant, I honor him; but, as he was ambitious, I slew him"

  • "Everyone can master a grief but he that has it".

  • "He kill'd my father, and for that,
I, his sole son, send him to heaven.
Why this is reward, not revenge. "

  • "O, from this time forth,
My thoughts be bloody or be nothing worth."

Insulting with elegance!

Hippopotamus-T.S.Eliot

THE broad-backed hippopotamus
Rests on his belly in the mud;
Although he seems so firm to us
He is merely flesh and blood.

Flesh-and-blood is weak and frail,
Susceptible to nervous shock;
While the True Church can never fail
For it is based upon a rock.

The hippo's feeble steps may err
In compassing material ends,
While the True Church need never stir
To gather in its dividends.

The 'potamus can never reach
The mango on the mango-tree;
But fruits of pomegranate and peach
Refresh the Church from over sea.

At mating time the hippo's voice
Betrays inflexions hoarse and odd,
But every week we hear rejoice
The Church, at being one with God.

The hippopotamus's day
Is passed in sleep; at night he hunts;
God works in a mysterious way--
The Church can sleep and feed at once.

I saw the 'potamus take wing
Ascending from the damp savannas,
And quiring angels round him sing
The praise of God, in loud hosannas.

Blood of the Lamb shall wash him clean
And him shall heavenly arms enfold,
Among the saints he shall be seen
Performing on a harp of gold.

He shall be washed as white as snow,
By all the martyr'd virgins kist,
While the True Church remains below
Wrapt in the old miasmal mist.

Why Epitaph?

The writings on the stone were duly made
Sometimes by those who cared other times by those who read
I for one wondered if they stared from below and read
Am sure a bloke or two wished that the amateur writers drop dead

Ain’t it funny that we can’t reveal ourselves in life
And our near and dear carry the legacy with our death
Ah how now we wish atleast death help the living see the truth
But seriously
Its just a stone and bone ,for what its worth

Hey don’t curse me for pointing out the humour
Who won’t laugh when the dead virgin has a stone
Saying “here lies our girl who did the world many a kind acts
So if you are like me,you don’t want to die with your lies
You make sure to do the writing for I intend to sleep in my grave :)

They wanted to applaud it
They wanted to revere its Art forever
They wanted to pay a monumental tribute to it
They wanted to acknowledge its influence
They wanted to act on their gratitude
They wanted all Humanity to bask in their faith

They thought it everyday
